In order to stop this error from appearing at the top of your sends, and to ensure that your emails are being sent out correctly to your customers, you will need to add BriefYourMarket to your SPF Records.
An SPF record is an identifier that is placed against a domain (the xxxx.com part of an email) to identify that a specific send server (in our case mail.briefyourmarket.com) is a trusted sender. When it is absent some email client providers may flag certain received emails as spam, thus causing them to strip out links, incorrectly render the email, etc.
As this is handled on a per email, per client, per sender basis, an effective method to prevent any technical issues with delivery of your email is to ensure that you have set up a valid SPF record that is pointing to our send servers
A great tool to check if you have added us to your SPF records is ‘MX Toolbox’ (https://mxtoolbox.com/spf.aspx). To use this you will need to type spf:<yourdomain> into the box.
To find your domain, for example: if your email is ‘support@briefyourmarket.co.uk’ your domain would be ‘briefyourmarket.co.uk’
If ‘mail.briefyourmarket.com’ appears in the list then you are all set to go, if it does not you do not have the BriefYourMarket SPF record.
You will then need to ask your IT team to include "mail.briefyourmarket.com" to your SPF record.
Here is a domain that has the SPF record added:
You will need to include "mail.briefyourmarket.com" to your SPF record.
