We’ve recently made some changes to how you use filters within your BriefYourMarket.com Email Editor.
Following on from previewing your email design, you’ll be presented with three options to select your audience.
Now, when selecting the filter option, you’ll be presented with a new screen. Here, you’ll be able to scroll through the filters that you have created or use the search filter function to quickly locate the filter you would like to send to.
Once you’ve selected the filter you want, you’ll be able to see the number of contacts that are receiving your email campaign.
By clicking on ‘view filter criteria’, you’ll be able to see how your filter has been constructed.
To apply the filter to your email send, click the ‘select filter’ button or click ‘next’. Fill in your campaign details as normal.
Remember, the campaign name is a friendly name for your reference and will not be seen by your recipients.
Create a catchy subject line to capture the attention of your audience, fill in the ‘from’ and ‘reply to’ addresses, as well as any personalised fields you wish to use.
Select your lawful basis for processing, and remember to test send your email to check that you’re happy with the content and look of your campaign before sending.
Select ‘send now’ or schedule your email for send later. When you reach the last call screen, remember to check that all of your send criteria are ticked green, you can preview your email again before clicking send.
